A thyroid problem arises when there is underactivity (hypothyroidism) or overactive (hyperthyroidism) in the gland.

Hypothyroidism can make you feel tired and gain weight, causing hair loss and frequent infections in the period.

 The symptoms of Hypothyroidism are that in this condition a person feels fatigue, exhaustion, depression, dry, coarse and itchy skin, constipation, feeling cold etc. whereas the symptoms of hyperthyroidism are the following- irritability, nervousness, thinning of your skin, increased perspiration, muscular weakness, insomnia, weight loss despite a good appetite etc.
