I had a mother and daughter German Shepherds. The mom (Camie) was 9 years old and the daughter (Bridget) was 7 1\/2 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">It is bad enough to go through this for 1 family pet, but I had to go through it two times on the same day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On June 23, 1998, I had to say goodbye to my female German shepherd (Cricket). She was 12 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On May 21, 2016, my daughter had to put her male border collie mix (Tanner) down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On September 19, 2016, my mini dachshund (Kobe), had to be put to sleep. Kobe would have been 13 on November 23, 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">This little dog was my buddy and my BFF.
