Symptoms and Types of Hypertension<\/span><\/p>\n

Hypertension has several symptoms. Systemic, arterial hypertension or hypertensive heart disease but the commonest variety of hypertension is known as essential hypertension.<\/span><\/p>\n

Strangely enough there is no part of the world that hypertension is completely absent, hypertension is a medical condition that tends to favor some people more than others.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the reason there are several names for the illness in different parts of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s more popular among the elite class and the socialites of our present world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The proponents say it is too common to be classified as a disease since it is even without any specific symptoms of its own yet it has some detrimental disorders such as kidney failure or nerve paralysis, so many regard it as a symptom of a bigger disorder.<\/span><\/p>\n

Illnesses are treated with drugs and high blood pressure is known to respond to several drugs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Arterial hypertension or systemic hypertension is the common type. It affects the heart and general blood circulation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The unpopular hypertension is in various categories. This type affects organs and tissues of the body they have no direct link with the high performance of the heart itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

A good example is a type that affects the lungs and the blood flows to the airway.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is called pulmonary hypertension.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are some other unpopular types of hypertension too and they include ocular hypertension which means that the eyeball structure is under an increased influence of tension from the fluids bathing them.<\/span><\/p>\n

This result is some degree of visual disturbance or even blindness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Good evidence of ocular hypertension is glaucoma.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another variety of hypertension is the one that affects the liver.<\/span><\/p>\n

The liver may be diseased and it may be working under increased pressure.<\/span><\/p>\n

This means that blood flow is greatly impeded and its general workability is impaired.<\/span><\/p>\n

This type of hypertension is called portal hypertension.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is a notable killer among alcoholics and hepatitis.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is post-traumatic hypertension too and it is high blood pressure that is the sequel to an accident, often a near-fatal one.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, there is high blood pressure arising from defective ductless gland function. It is referred to as hypertension of endocrine origin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some other variants exist of the popular class of arterial hypertension and they include unstable blood pressure disorders such as labile hypertension and paroxysmal hypertension.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are other two not well know subgroups of the popular arterial high blood pressure disorder that must be mentioned<\/span><\/p>\n

They are the arterial hypertensive heart disorder caused solely by pregnancy or that which has been corrected by surgery.<\/span><\/p>\n
