Headaches of Unknown Origin\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Headaches are a common symptom in the practice of physicians and neurologists.<\/span><\/p>\n

They are of short duration, such as colds, quickly subsiding after recovery. There are also frequent, recurring headaches.<\/span><\/p>\n

In most cases, headaches of vascular origin are due to dilatation or spasm of the intracranial and extracranial arteries.<\/span><\/p>\n

Intense pain is the stimulation of the meninges (meningitis, subarachnoid hemorrhage). Some headaches are accompanied by vomiting without nausea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pain in the head – Both locally and diffuse headache often occurs in diseases of the eye. <\/span><\/p>\n

Headache with cervical osteochondrosis and is not limited to the neck and head, and can radiate to the frontal-orbital region.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adjacent groups are tension headaches caused by emotional overload, with the pathogenetic mechanisms being muscle spasms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rare and therefore difficult to detect headaches can occur with a sharp narrowing of the nasal passages, caused by allergic rhinitis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Types of headaches<\/span><\/p>\n

Frequent pain<\/span><\/p>\n

The main reasons are their vascular disease (hypertension, temporal arteritis, and cerebral atherosclerosis), osteochondrosis, and eye disease (glaucoma), and teeth, migraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pain attacks<\/span><\/p>\n

Characteristic of high blood pressure (hypertensive crises), pheochromocytoma, migraines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pain accompanied by nausea and vomiting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Characteristic of pheochromocytoma, hypertension, and diseases of the nervous system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Increased intracranial pressure may be hypertension, cerebral hemorrhage, and brain tumors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pain at night or early morning. Characteristic of increased intracranial pressure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pain on one side of the head.<\/span><\/p>\n

Characteristic of migraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pain is accompanied by visual disturbances (flicker flies before the eyes, blurred vision) and\/or photophobia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Characteristic of high blood pressure, migraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recurring headaches from one side of the face, very strong attacks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Characteristic of the trigeminal neuritis – inflammation of one of the branches of the cranial nerves, through which there is sensitivity in the face, by the motion of facial muscles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Symptoms of the disease<\/span><\/p>\n

A classic migraine attack begins with flickering. Following the aura, which lasts from several minutes to an hour, there is a one-sided headache in the frontal-temporal region, and often the pain extends to the entire half of the head.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pain is usually accompanied by nausea and vomiting. The attack lasted several hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

In contrast to classical migraine (only 10% of migraine pain). Common migraine has no visual aura.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
