{"id":4227,"date":"2025-09-01T08:11:58","date_gmt":"2025-09-01T13:11:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mickeylieberman.com\/fishing\/?p=4227"},"modified":"2025-08-28T08:13:29","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T13:13:29","slug":"important-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mickeylieberman.com\/fishing\/important-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Important Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">This is to make you aware of something that has happened to our daughter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">After undergoing a surgical biopsy on 7\/17\/2025, She was recently diagnosed with Uterine Cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">On August 4th, she underwent 3 1\/2 hours of surgery for a total hysterectomy, plus the removal of multiple lymph nodes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">According to the gynecological oncologist and the pathology report, she will also need both radiation therapy and chemotherapy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">On Tuesday, August 27th, we met with the radiation oncologist. The radiation treatment was explained.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">On September 8th, she will have a port surgically implanted, which will be used for blood draws, medications and the actual chemotherapy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Sometime mid September, she will begin the actual radiation treatments which will be 5 times per week for a total of 27 treatments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">She will also begin chemotherapy about the same time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">She will receive at minimum 3-5 chemotherapy treatments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">We are awaiting an appointment to be made with the chemotherapy oncologist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">As this is a very stressful time, I cannot work on my blogs, as all of my time and attention is for my daughter.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is to make you aware of something that has happened to our daughter.
