Most people are not aware of what the most addictive illegal drugs are and only believe the myths and rumors associated with them.<\/span><\/p>\n

People are misguided because they have never taken the time to read about illegal drugs.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is very evident there is a major problem with illegal drugs. Rarely does a day go by that either on the news or in the newspaper, there is mention of illegal drug activity, such as drug busts, death from overdose, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Addictive illegal drugs and the extreme treatments necessary to overcome these addictions:<\/span><\/p>\n

Heroin<\/span><\/p>\n

This drug is processed from morphine and is commonly found as a white or brown powder. The function is to fool receptors and forward the abnormal messages to the brain. The drug has both short-term as well as long-term effects.<\/span><\/p>\n

In short-term effects, your skin may get warm, your mouth may become dry, your mental capacity may become blurred, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

In long-term effects, you can have a spontaneous abortion, you can catch various types of pneumonia, your veins can be collapsed, and liver functioning can be affected.<\/span><\/p>\n

Withdrawal symptoms of Heroin become intense after 2-3 days and become less after a week. To overcome the addiction to Heroin, there are two treatments, medication, and behavioral therapy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cocaine<\/span><\/p>\n

The coco plant is the source used to make any type of cocaine. When it is processed from hydrochloride, we call it crack. Crack is used for smoking.<\/span><\/p>\n

The use of cocaine can cause nerve cells to release abnormally huge amounts of neurotransmitters that disrupt communication channels in the brain. The individuals, after use, feel self-confident, powerful, and experience a state of ecstasy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cocaine can harm your respiratory system and can cause a heart attack or stroke.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heart rate, temperature, and blood pressure can reach an alarming level. The withdrawal symptoms are depression and the inability to experience euphoria. Behavioral therapy treatment is most common for addicts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Methamphetamine<\/span><\/p>\n

Meth or speed is a bitter-tasting powder, which quickens the central nervous system. The drug is similar to cocaine as it takes you to a state of euphoria; however, it is longer lasting than cocaine.<\/span><\/p>\n

The drug can be injected, taken orally, smoked, or snorted. Smoking or injecting this drug can make you feel an intense rush within 5-10 seconds; however, snorting or ingesting the drug is less intensified.<\/span><\/p>\n

Like any other drug, this drug has side effects which include: anxiety, aggression, insomnia, confusion, ecstatic feeling, decreased appetite, and spasms.<\/span><\/p>\n

If taken routinely, the individual can experience schizophrenic symptoms like paranoia and hallucinations, repetitive behavior patterns, and skin problems.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hunger, extended sleep, and depression are some of the withdrawal symptoms. Therapeutic programs are available as treatment of this drug, but unfortunately, the medications for recovery are still being developed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nicotine<\/span><\/p>\n

Nicotine is one of the most heavily used drugs all over the world. It is extracted from tobacco plants and is also used as natural protection against insects.<\/span><\/p>\n

The short-term effects include high blood pressure, increased heart rate, and narrowing of arteries.<\/span><\/p>\n
